Helensburgh Heroes has a professional duty to provide children and vulnerable adults with appropriate safety and protection. As the welfare of the child/vulnerable adult is paramount, we are committed to providing safe facilities so that children/vulnerable adults may participate in courses/programmes/activities in a secure environment.

Young workers of legal working age have, until the age of 18, the right to be protected from any type of employment or work which, by its nature or the circumstances in which it is carried out, is likely to jeopardise their health, safety or morals.

This Policy is for Volunteer Scotland Disclosure Services enrolled organisations accessing Disclosure Records for the purpose of assessing individual’s suitability for paid and/or unpaid work.
