Supporters of Helensburgh Heroes can now make a donation to the Charity every time they shop with Amazon.
AmazonSmile is a simple and automatic way for people to support Helensburgh Heroes every time they shop, at no cost. When people shop at smile.amazon.co.uk, they’ll find the exact same low prices, vast selection and convenient shopping experience as amazon.co.uk, with the added bonus that Amazon will donate a portion of the purchase price to a charity of their choice.
Participating Amazon customers use the same account on amazon.co.uk and smile.amazon.co.uk. The shopping cart, Wish List, wedding or baby registry, and other account settings remain the same.
To select and support the Charity, first time customers to smile.amazon.co.uk need to select Helensburgh Heroes from the list or by simply typing it into the search bar. Amazon then remembers the selection, and then every eligible purchase made at smile.amazon.co.uk will result in a donation of 0.5% of the net purchase price (excluding VAT, returns and shipping fees) to Helensburgh Heroes.
At the end of every quarter Amazon 100% of the donation amounts generated by qualifying purchases made by customers supporting Helensburgh Heroes are passed to the Charity via electronic funds transfer.
Helensburgh Heroes hopes that it supporters will consider joining the AmazonSmile scheme to enable it to raise funds to continue its plans to build a large purpose built Heroes Centre within Helensburgh.
