Our Heroes

We have identified over 70 men and woman, with strong Helensburgh links, who have made significant contributions to the society in which we live. Whilst the title ‘Hero’ can mean many things to many people, we have simply used this term to describe someone who has given us all a great example. You can read about each Hero by either clicking on a specific category or by selecting them from the full list. Their stories are truly inspirational.

I feel sure what you are thinking of would really do well as Helensburgh is a lovely place and many people come for the day also to visit the Hill House and then it would be lovely for them to just go a little further along and have somewhere else to visit.
