From research to sponsorship, to becoming a Trustee – no matter how much -or how little -time and money you can afford to give every penny and second counts.
The Charity is currently seeking people in the Helensburgh Area (G84) who wish to help deliver the pilot Heroes Centre in George Street.
The following skill areas are being sought by the Charity and it is expected that the appointed persons will have considerable experience in one or more of these areas:
- Finance and risk management
- Project Management
- Museum, Heritage & Cultural management
- Education and training
- Leadership of volunteer organisations
We have two Volunteer opportunities available – Charity Trustee and Project Team member
Both positions require some time commitment and are based on a voluntary basis. Project & Board meetings are held in Helensburgh on a regular basis with hours to suit the majority of attendees.
Three new Trustees are now being sought to join the existing Charity trustees on the Helensburgh Heroes Board. As a Trustee, the role includes responsibility for setting strategy and policy for the organisation while ensuring that its work is carried out efficiently and in compliance will relevant laws and regulations.
